CyberMe: Applications Open for the Cybersecurity Boot Camp in Malta

The cybersecurity sector is growing very fast every day. However, a strong gender gap still exists. In fact, currently, very few women work in information security.

This is exactly why CyberMe was created. It is a European project under the Erasmus+ programme. APS Polygonal is proud to participate as the partner for Italy.

Recently, following the kick-off meeting in Berlin, the project has officially entered its operational phase. Therefore, we have opened applications for the youth exchange in Malta.

What is the CyberMe project?

CyberMe aims to provide young women with new tools and technical skills. The project focuses on building the confidence needed to start a digital career.

Furthermore, through mentoring, we want to break down every stereotype. The ultimate goal is to train the future leaders of technology.

The Malta Exchange: Training and Innovation

The heart of this initiative will be the First Female Youth Camp. The event will take place in Malta in June 2026. First of all, it will not just be a trip. Instead, it will be a very intense training experience.

Participants will be able to:

  • Collaborate with young women from all over Europe.
  • Attend workshops with international experts.
  • Create interactive digital challenges.
  • Study real-world cyber threat scenarios.

Requirements to participate

Currently, we are looking for young women residing in Italy with the following requirements:

  • Age: between 18 and 30 years old.
  • Language: Basic English (B1 level).
  • Interests: Passion for tech and curiosity.
  • Motivation: Willingness to learn and get involved.

In short, you do not need a specific degree. Even beginners are welcome to apply.

A zero-cost opportunity

Participation is completely free of charge. In fact, as an Erasmus+ project, the budget covers every expense. Flight, meals, and accommodation are all included.

In addition, you will receive the Youthpass. This official European certificate validates your newly acquired skills.

How to apply

Certainly, this is a unique opportunity for your career. Places for Italy are limited. For this reason, we advise you to write to us immediately.
