GreenVET Pathway: Online Final Conference on Sustainability

How can VET schools lead the ecological transition across Europe? Certainly, sharing results is a crucial step in making change systemic. For this reason, we are pleased to invite you to the Final Online Conference of the GreenVET Pathway project, taking place on Tuesday, March 26th, from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM on the Zoom platform.

First of all, the event represents the concluding moment of an international journey involving partners from Cyprus, Finland, Germany, Greece, Italy, Latvia, and Slovenia. The goal is to present concrete tools for transforming training institutes into sustainability models. If you want to learn more about our initiatives, visit the Polygonal News section.

What we will discover during the final conference

During the GreenVET Pathway digital meeting, the main “outputs” produced for teachers and school staff will be illustrated. In fact, we will not just talk about theory, but about ready-to-use resources to map and improve the environmental impact of schools.

For example, the following will be presented:

  • Best practices database: a collection of sustainable strategies tested at a European level.
  • Interactive platform: a guide to align school values with the European Green Deal.
  • Whole Institution Approach: how to integrate sustainability into every aspect of school life.

However, the conference is also an important opportunity for dialogue. In addition, participants will be able to interact with experts to understand how to replicate these good practices in their own local contexts. You can consult details on funds and programs on the Erasmus+ portal.

Why connect on March 26th?

In short, this online conference is the perfect opportunity for anyone working in the VET world who wants to stay updated on the latest trends in “green” training. Currently, skills for the ecological transition are an absolute priority for the labor market.

Certainly, the future of vocational training has already begun. For this reason, we invite you to register and participate online to discover the GreenVET Pathway together.
