PolisLab is getting ready to reopen its doors. From Tuesday, 15 September 2026, the centre will welcome learners back to Cori. Its services are open to students, families, adults, educators and local groups.
The centre is located at Via Roma 26 and is managed by APS Polygonal. Here, people can study, improve their skills and receive support based on their needs.
Above all, PolisLab aims to offer a welcoming, inclusive and professional learning space. Its activities cover school support, special education and lifelong learning.
PolisLab for students and families
Students can access homework help, tutoring and school recovery activities. For example, they can receive support with daily assignments, written tests and oral exams.
Both individual and group lessons are available for different school subjects. In addition, learners can focus on topics they find difficult.
The service can also help students prepare for resit exams and admission tests. However, tutoring is not only about improving grades. It can also help learners organise their work and build a better study method.
As a result, students can become more confident and independent. Families who need longer support can also request the homework service with lunch.
Support for different learning needs
An important part of the PolisLab offer supports students with different learning needs. These include Special Educational Needs and Specific Learning Disorders. In Italy, they are often known as BES and DSA.
Each learning plan considers the needs and pace of the student. Therefore, tutors can adapt activities, study tools and teaching methods.
The aim is to create a calmer and more accessible learning experience. At the same time, students can understand their strengths and develop useful skills.
Two rooms designed for learning
The centre has two fully soundproofed classrooms. One room is used for homework, tutoring and group workshops.
Meanwhile, the second room is designed for special education and private meetings. Both rooms support focus, discussion and active learning.
The spaces can host individual sessions and activities for small groups. For this reason, they can meet different learning and training needs.

PolisLab and lifelong learning

Parents of children with BES or DSA can also find useful support. Through dedicated activities, they can gain tools to help their children at school.
Learning is also available online through the official PolisLab platform. Users can create an account and access free courses from different devices.
The online topics include volunteering, marketing, fundraising, e-commerce and agriculture. Other courses cover gender education, digital finance and open data.
Furthermore, users can study when they prefer and return to each lesson more than once. The current offer is available in the online course catalogue.
