Back to the Village: Join the Youth Exchange in La Rioja, Spain
Are you ready to leave the city buzz behind and rediscover the value of rural areas? Polygonal is looking for motivated participants for the Erasmus+ project “Back to the Village”, a cultural exchange taking place in the heart of La Rioja, Spain.

The Project: Nature and Outdoor Learning
“Back to the Village” aims to connect European youth with rural heritage, promoting land valorization and sustainability through outdoor learning. Participants will experience life in Munilla, a traditional village, to reflect on rural exodus and the protection of remote European areas.

Activities

The program includes dynamic and inclusive activities:

Hike and Trekking: Exploring mountain paths and the valley’s natural landscapes.

Natural Wellness: Visiting natural volcanic spring waters.

Culture and Gastronomy: A full day in Logroño to experience its history and world-famous traditional cuisine.

Cultural Exchange: Three national evenings to share the traditions and cultures of the partner countries.

Logistics and Costs
The group will stay at the “Hayedo de Santiago” youth hostel in Munilla, a traditional mountain building in La Rioja reserved exclusively for the project.

Dates: Arrival on the 22nd, departure on the 28th.

Meeting Point: Logroño (Tourist Office) by 8:30 PM on arrival day.

Costs: No participation fee. Accommodation and meals are fully covered.

Travel: Travel costs will be reimbursed according to Erasmus+ program limits.
