The DIY Parents initiative offers an international training opportunity for educators and social professionals. 🗓️ Detailed schedule for the DIY Parents training exchange
First of all, the three-day training offers an immersive learning environment. In fact, participants will explore innovative methods to engage parents of children aged 5 to 12.
The session agenda includes:
- Reviewing research findings from the five partner countries.
- Testing at least six hands-on workshops for family groups.
- Exchanging best practices to adapt workshops to local contexts.
- Networking activities and a study visit to local organizations in Nicosia.
In addition, participant feedback will directly improve the final project handbook.

The hosting responsibilities for the DIY Parents activity belong to two key local institutions. Consequently, COMCY and the Nicosia Parents Federation guarantee high-quality educational standards.
Educators will learn to combine physical activities with conscious digital tools. This integrated methodology promotes inclusion, sustainability, and circular economy practices.
